The Long-Term Business Visa is intended for business people who are interested in setting up a business in New Zealand. One of the requirements is that applicants have at least management experience in the business they want to establish. Economic benefit is understood as, amongst others, the creation of jobs or the introduction of new technology.
The Long Term Business Visa allows temporary entrance (nine months to three years). Applicants must have a business plan and sufficient funds. Once the New Zealand business is successful, a permanent visa can be applied for the Entrepreneur Visa.
